And as for my comments from ~2012 that you oh-so-thoughtfully sent out in a private message because you were too "considerate" to post them publicly (though you made sure to publicly pique interest in them, aren't you clever?): baloney; you were hoping someone else would post it so you could pretend to be above it all. But you're not. I clarified my comments then and I still stand behind them 100 percent today: Obama needed to go. Obama shouldn't have been reelected. He was a national disaster and a national disgrace. I didn't even mention his racial divisiveness in my earlier cataloging of his multitudinous failures as a president. He set race relations back in this country by several decades.

If Mitt Romney weren't such a weinie, Obama wouldn't have been reelected, either. Romney had him by the throat after the first debate, and then let him off the hook, looking weak and ineffectual in the subsequent debates because some moron convinced him that he was going to win, and that he should simply remain above it all. He's a weak-kneed fool, yet he still would have done better for the United States than Obama.

However, there is a silver lining to Mitt's incompetency. As a result of Romney losing to Obama, Donald Trump is now the president of the United States, and that's a big win. The go-along-to-get-along Republican Party is rapidly transforming into something that can take on and defeat the ruthless liars and disinformation specialists that comprise today's Democratic Party and their willing accomplices in the media. The stranglehold the Dems had on news and information is gone, despite their desperate attempts to put the toothpaste back in the tube. Now they have to put up or shut up.

Romney managed to get himself elected Senator and immediately declared himself willing to be hostage once again to the liberal media and the Democrats, but the ground shifted right out from under him. A few interviews on TV where he attempted to burnish his never-Trump credentials, and now where is he? I think the good people of Utah should find a Republican candidate to replace his milquetoast ass when he comes up for reelection.

HOOK, LINE & SINKER

Adam Schiff is the world's biggest sucker. Pelosi offered to make him the face of this outrageous impeachment nonsense to take as much heat off of her as possible, and he swallowed the bait.

Now, Schiff deserves every condemnation that can be heaped upon him. He's a smug, sanctimonious, pompous, lying McCarthyite who cares nothing for America, only his own power. But he's also a vain fool, and that's what made him so succeptible to Nancy's mesmerizing offer. Even Nadler, bumbling as he is, was too smart to be completely out front on this. He's only participating enough to stave off left-wing radical challenges to his seat this November. Even so, he still managed to insult and piss off every Republican member of the Senate and give them plenty of cover for voting no.

That old reptile Pelosi must have been laughing up her sleeve when she realized she could put Schiff front and center in this dangerous charade and minimize her exposure to blowback. But make no mistake. This is Nancy's debacle, every bit of it, and I believe in the end history is not going to be kind to her. She's exhibited cunning and, paradoxically, stunning stupidity throughout this whole process (like sitting on the articles of impeachment for weeks only to be told to pound sand by McConnell). She allowed herself to be boxed in by the wing of her party that says out loud what Nancy only dares to say to herself. Now Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her gang are setting the agenda, forcing Pelosi into the current impeachment madness, and openly defying her and the rest of her Congressional dinosaur brigade by refusing to pony up to the DCCC while at the same time hand-selecting candidates to run against more moderate Democrats. Pelosi should have slapped Occasional Cortex and her cronies down hard the first time they opened their mouths, and immediately set about selecting a challenger to unseat the nitwit, but she let fear rule her thinking. Now she's committed to this ridiculous political path, come what may. As a result, not only will the can of impeachment be tied to her tail forever, but Schumer is able to try and use this impeachment to attack Republican senators without suffering any of the ill-effects that the House Democrats are going to be subject to. No one even mentions Schumer's name when they talk about impeachment. It's all Nancy's, lock stock and smoking barrel.

Pelosi's like an athlete that stayed in the game too long. She's lost a step (hell, several steps), and now the game is about to run her over.
