Question to anyone who has read The Terror: What was your reaction when you learned about the rediscovery of HMS Erebus in 2014 and then HMS Terror in 2016?

I read The Terror first. I KNEW, just knew they would be finding those wrecks soon, the videos on the bottom were superb...Then when the film was announced, it was like a Hat trick!

It was only a matter of time, search area was small, compared to finding somethilg like the Titanic in the open ocean. Very exciting at the time.

If the technology (and the money) exists, those wrecks could be lifted up and preserved at a museum. Fantastic.
